Game Specific Rules


1. All pairings and relationship types (het, slash, femmeslash) are welcome. However, try to develop relationships realistically, and remember that not everyone has the same views on pairings as you do!
2. Character journal entries are not to be filtered. All players must be able to read them, but you may 'hex' your entry private against certain characters. An Example of this is in the title of the entry it reads "Day 2. (Hexed private against wondering eyes.)"
3. When you finish a role playing thread, it is highly encouraged for you to post a journal entry as your character summarizing the events that took place. This allows others to know what happened without having to read the whole thread. [Note, If you haven't finished your thread, but you know where it's going, feel free to post the end result on your journal.]
4. Important information will be posted in Daily Prophet Journal. So please be sure to add the journal and keep up with what it has to say. [If you want to write for the Daily Prophet please email your application to mn.mods@gmail.com. The application can be found at the journal.]

General RP Rules

1. You must create a new journal for your character. The username must relate to your character somehow. If you have more then one character you must have a separate journal for each.
2. Must be able to post on a regular basis. If you disappear for a month or more without telling the mods they have the right to suspend you or give your character away to a new player.
3. Multiple characters are allowed as long as you think you can post regularly as those characters. Only two characters per person unless you specifically talk to the mods about having any more characters.
4. Please stay in character at all times in the game.
5. Keep all posts in: third person for RP entries, the secret word is "bippity boppity boo", first person for journal entries.
6. No flaming. Keep OOC drama OOC and away from other players. Keep OOC talk to the OOC community mn_ooc , IMs or emails.
7. Please pay attention to your spelling and grammar.
8. No godmoding or taking liberties with other people’s characters. Be considerate of other people!
9. This RPG is generally rated PG-13 to R, but be forewarned that some threads could go to NC-17. Every entry must be under a cut. If a post is only between you and a certain other character, please be sure to specify so that other characters are aware of it. Please respect these specifications and only post if it’s directed at you, or if it’s an open thread. All RP posts should be made using the following format:

For example:

Who: Harry and open
When: Friday, January 9th
Where: Cafe in London
Rating: TBA (Change to G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17, &c. upon completion.)
Status: Incomplete (Once complete, change.)

10. We all love RPing and would happily do it anywhere, anytime, but this RP is IJ based. All posts must be done in the RP community. The format begins with one person posting a thread and then player(s) can join in with comments. You can plot on IM and email but don't copy/paste it in a post. RPs done through IM or email will not be accepted.
11. Smut has a time and place, so don't go overboard.
